I’ll be crawling out of my lair for a few hours in September to discuss the Avery Cates books, beg piteously for money, and possibly humiliate myself when someone offers me a dollar to “shake my money-maker” and I accept, gyrating as tears stream down my face, certain that despite my efforts I will never get that dollar.
