It’s fucking rancid! One of the reasons I even picked up EC from the shelf was the matte 3 color cover. Red, white and black. It popped at you from sea of novels wrapped in gloss and slick graphics. The artwork was also interesting, people have asked what I was reading just because of that. I know I’m biased though, because I’ve had the book since release.
While I have to agree with Smedley on the fact that the aesthetic colour scheme is something that makes it stick out, matches the tone of the book in my opinion perfectly, and looks great, I personally think this is also a great, interesting cover. Almost a movie poster.
Actually, exactly like a movie poster. But sadly there are a lot of books that do it in this style.
